2001-06-20 - 9:50 p.m.� Is it just me or is this week lasting forever? I can't believe it's only Wednesday. My job was really hectic this afternoon: cancellations, last minute requests, clients gone missing (two separate clients were not where they were supposed to be when volunteers showed up!), and the usual crankiness of my clients (and some of my volunteers, too). And then, just to add to my afternoon fun, the boss lady called my whole department together to tell us that our month end reporting has to be done totally differently from now on. It will involve more work to do in less time. Yay. But despite all this, I did not feel the urge to hide under my desk at all today like I did yesterday. Maybe I am more comfortable at work when things are hectic and a little stressed? Maybe I just don't have time to think about wanting to hide when things are hectic and stressed? I think I should watch this situation, see how it develops.
