2005-12-26 - 12:53 a.m.� I hope everyone is having as lovely a Christmas as I am. I think this has been my most relaxing Christmas ever. My family did not have anywhere to go today, so we have spent the day in our pjs, relaxing, eating, watching our new dvds, and eating some more. I've had three days of exchanging presents. On Friday night, Julie came over, and we decided that we couldn't wait until morning to exchange our gifts, so we did it that night. She got me some wonderful gifts, including a beautiful sweater that she knit for me, and the coolest shoes I have ever seen-- they are white Mary Janes with black cats on them. I'm just sad that I won't be able to wear them until spring. Yesterday I had my annual Christmas Eve get together. I think everyone had a good time. I know I did-- most of my friends all in one room, good food, gift exchange... what could be wrong with that? I got some more fabulous presents, including an animation book I've been coveting for years and a muppet action figure from Sarah. And I got a pair of fuzzy socks filled with booze from Marla. Gotta love the gift of booze. This morning I opened presents with my family. My brother got me another very cool muppet figure, and my mom got me some dvds and cds, and other assorted goodies. I know they loved the gifts I got for them too. My mom just about cried when she saw that I got her an autographed postcard along with her Tragically Hip boxed set. Her hands were shaking. It was adorable, really. I'm currently listening to my new Sarah Harmer cd, and munching on some Christmas chocolates. Good times, good times. And on that note, I should probably head to bed. I have a busy day of Boxing Day shopping ahead of me tomorrow.
