You lookin' at me?

Anne of Green Gables is having a busy week. First she was a lesbian on ER, and tonight she was murdered after giving birth to an alien baby. She's come a long way from Avonlea! (Just finished watching The X-Files. Wasn't bad, actually.)

I had a good weekend. It's good to see friends. And the concert was good too, although nothing too special. I was entertained, that's the important thing.

I did have a bit of a problem with the crowd at the show though. See, I don't think that I like people. I like persons, but people en masse often make me edgy and uncomfortable. I can't say that I get honest to goodness panic attacks when I'm in crowds, but I do feel some physical signs of anxiety when I am in the middle of a large group of tightly packed people. I get a little light headed. And nauseous.

I also have less tolerance in crowds. If someone bumps into me, I get the desire to push them down. I don't want to seriously hurt anyone, just injure them a little. I'm not actually dangerous though, so don't worry. The most action I can actually muster is a mean glare in the direction of the offensive party.

I was sending some good ones to a group of people standing behind Sarah and I who talked loudly during the opening act. During the break before Fruvous came on, one of the guys told me that I was giving off "quite the looks" in his direction. I told him that it was because he was talking so loud that I couldn't hear the singer's lyrics over his conversation. He didn't seem to care too much, and tried to defend himself by saying that the opening act wasn't worth hearing, but I was just impressed that he actually noticed them. I guess I must be pretty skilled with the nasty looks. So let that be a warning to you all: piss me off and I'll give you a lookin' you won't soon forget. Yeah.
