I could have better spent that $11.09 on beer, damnit.

I am so tired.

That's just been my catchphrase lately. How are you this morning, Heather?

I am so tired.

How was work today?

Fine, but now I am so tired.

This really shouldn't be my natural state of being, should it?

Sigh.

I had to go out after work tonight and buy a cheese ball and some crackers. We're having a party tomorrow after work for all the people from my office who are losing their jobs next week. How awkward is that going to be? If a mass layoff isn't a good reason for a party, I don't know what is!

I know we have to do something to say goodbye to them. It would be wrong to just let their departure go without notice, but is a barbeque and pot luck really the way to go? Maybe it is. I don't know what the appropriate send off in this case really is.

I really don't want to go. For one thing, I am so tired-- I know I will just want to come home and veg. And did I mention the awkwardness of the whole party? Is that not reason enough to not want to go?

And I'm bummed that I had to spend $11.09 on cheese and crackers for a party that no one wants to go to.

yesterday tomorrow
