2000-12-11 - 8:24 pm� It's nice to have days off where the biggest plan you have is to sit in front of the tv and be lazy. I learned all about my mom's daytime television habits. At 9:00 am she watches a This Hour has 22 Minutes rerun, and then at 11:00 am she watches Bear in the Big Blue House. I watched 80's sitcoms for most of the afternoon. There was a very heartwarming episode of "Designing Women" on at 3:00, and a great first season "Cosby Show" on at 4:00. I also watched half of a "Growing Pains." I can't believe how much that show sucks! Ugh. I am ashamed for every having liked it. I put up the Christams tree today. I didn't decorate it-- I have to wait for mom to do that with us. Our tree is so pathetic. It's a fake tree because we are all allergic to real Christmas trees, and besides, real Christmas trees in our building are against Fire Bylaws. Anyway, the has all these gaps in it where the branches are bent out of shape beyond repair. And it's lopsided. Mom keeps trying to tell me that it will look better when it's decorated. My brother says that it is a fitting for our family that we have a weird looking tree. Tomorrow I'm going out shopping with my mom. She wants to buy herself some new jeans. I might get myself some while I'm up there too. And after that I think I might get my haircut. I found some pictures to take in with me. It would be nice to get my hair looking decent before I start seeing everyone for the holidays. I have 2 office Christmas parties to go to this week, and on Saturday I'm going out for dinner with one of my friends. Sorry this entry isn't more exciting. It's hard to be exciting when your day has been filled with little more than television.
