2000-11-17 - 11:15 pm� It snowed today. Not too enough to really be annoying, but enough to be a harsh reminder that I need to get some new boots, and fast. Work was okay today. The stuff they had me doing was boring, but at least it was enough to keep me busy. Only three more weeks... only three more weeks... I feel bad about wanting to leave there so badly. Everyone there is just so damned nice. Two people offered me rides to the Christmas party, which I don't really want to go to, but it's nice to know they want me there. There is a job opening up in the office and at least 3 people told me to apply to it today. I don't know if I'm going to though. It's a job in accounting. Acocunting involves math. I hate math with a fiery vengeance. Still, they all seem to think I can do the job. I don't know. We'll see. I got the strangest email today. I'm assuming it's spam, but it's strange spam. And it was sent to my diaryland address, which also seems a little strange. Did any of you send it to me? Please, come forth and identify yourself because I am just really confused. Anyway, the email said that she thought I'd want to know that the theme song from The Littlest Hobo has just been released, "FINALLY!" And then gave a link to www.hobotheme.com. I don't know why in hell anyone thought that I'd be interested in the theme to The Littlest Hobo, other than the fact that as I've mentioned here, I am Canadian, so it's not a bad assumption that I have watched an episode or two of that show in my time, and perhaps remember it fondly. I remember it as being cheesy, very low-budget... just very Canadian TV looking. But I do remember watching it Sunday mornings sometimes after all the good cartoons ended on the American channels. Well that's all that's even remotely newsworthy in my life today.
