2000-11-11 - 1:29 am� Today I felt over educated and under appreciated. I spent 4 and a half hours at work feeding individual retirement party invitations into the printer. My wrist hurts from the repetitive action and I feel sad that this is how I spent the majority of my work day. Let me tell you, when you spend that long doing nothing but placing little bristleboard cards into a printer you get to thinking. I thought about those 4 years I spent in University. I tried to pinpoint how exactly I got to where I am in life, and I pondered where my life is headed. Wondered why I have no direction in life, and wondered where I could find some. I thought about new places I could send out resumes... or not. I thought about that novel I've got all plotted out in my head but haven't had the motivation to start writing. And then I looked out the window, watched the rain fall and tried not to feel sorry for myself.
