2000-09-10 - 10:29 pm� I hate the Emmy awards. Every year I watch them, and every year I get angry at myself for wasting so much time watching something that makes me want to throw things at the tv. Nothing I want to win ever wins no matter how deserving it might be. Tonight's major disappointment? Joss Whedon was robbed of the best writing in a dramatic series award. He was robbed! Robbed, I say! Just because he writes for a so called teen show on the WB doesn't mean that he didn't write one of the finest hours of television of all time. "Hush" was an absolutely brillant episode of Buffy. There is no justice at The Emmy awards. But hey! Maybe I'm a little wrong! There appears to a teensy bit of justice there after all. Patricia Heaton just won for best actress in a comedy! Yay for her. Okay, that's all I have to say tonight. Except that I should say thank you to Methybeth for making my really pissy day a less pissy. So... thank you!
