2000-09-01 - 11:56pm� Long weekend! Long weekend! Excuse me, but I'm happy about that. This week has lasted way longer than it should have. One of the volunteers I work with, a very nice 74 year old woman, scolded me today for not having plans for the long weekend. She even offered me many helpful suggestions on what I could do this weekend. She basically told me to get a life. Not it so many words of course, but that was the gist of it. Should I be concerned that even an old woman who I've known less than a month can pick up on my lack of social life? I have to wonder just what kind of pathetic loser vibes I'm putting out there. Anyway, I do have plans for this weekend. I plan to sleep in late, watch some cartoons, listen to music, maybe get mildly intoxicated. Those are plans. Damn fine plans too, in my opinion. I even have a few more plans. I thought I might go swimming tomorrow evening if it's still this hot. I might go to a movie on Sunday. I really have nothing to write about tonight so I think I'll just go now.
