2002-10-28 - 2:12 a.m.� It's been a good weekend. Had fun with Sarah and my brother. Sarah and I went swimming with another one of friends today too, which was nice. Swimming itself is always nice, but I was a little concerned that the dynamic of the 3 of us might be a little awkward. We all knew each other in high school, and were even part of the same group for a while, but the group of us drifted apart sort of drastically, and I just thought it might be weird. But it wasn't. At least, it didn't feel weird to me. I have issues with mixing my friends. I always have the impression that they aren't going to like each other. Each of my friends is very different from each other, and I have different things in common with each of them, and different relationships with each of them. I always worry that if I get them together, I'm the only thing they'll have in common. Maybe I'm just self-centered that way. We watched a lot of Halloween type things this weekend. Simpsons, mostly. Anyway, it's made me want to get a pumpkin, even though I live in an apartment, and nowhere to put a pumpkin, and it will probably just be a hassle to try to keep the cats from gnawing on it. But I want one. Mostly for the roasting of pumpkin seeds, but also for the happy childhood pumpkin carving session. 4 days until Halloween. I wonder if I'll give in and pick one up.
