2001-10-14 - 5:03 p.m.� On Friday I lugged 5 cardboard boxes home from work. I packed them today. 5 boxes full of vidoes and books. And you know what's scary? I barely made a dent in the book and video collections. I think it is clear that myself, my brother, and to a lesser extent, my mom, own too much stuff. We have been sorting through things as we pack. Yesterday I took two bags of videos down to the pawn shop. I got rid of 20 videos, and got $40.00 in return. That is almost enough to buy everything I want for the new bathroom. Yay! I have a feeling I'll be making at least one more trip down there before the big move, and probably another trip after my stuff comes out of storage. And then there are the books. I've got a big ass pile of books to take down to the used bookstore too. I'll probably do that next weekend. I'll probably be able to get rid of a lot of clothes too. And I might even be able to thin my cd collection a little. Still, even with that stuff gone, there is a whole hell of a lot of stuff in this little apartment. You never really realize how much you accumulate until you have to move.
