2000-07-24 - 8:39 pm� Well, I've got another temp job! It starts tomorrow and will probably go to end of the week. Manpower is a good temp agency! Today I went shopping and spent way too much money in Sunrise Records. I went a little crazy. I guess I'm a little giddy with the new temp job so soon after the last, and the arrival of my GST rebate cheque in the mail. :) So among other things, I finally bought an Arrogant Worms cd! I got "Live Bait." I felt I should seeing as I've been downloading mp3s of their songs like a madwoman. I get off on Canadian in-jokes. Speaking of which, my whole evening was made when I looked in the tv guide and found that CBC is airing 2 episodes of "This Hour has 22 Minutes" tonight! Be still my heart. Rick Mercer is my hero. I really wish I could find a half decent 22 Minutes or Rick Mercer website. Maybe I should make one. My brother went out for dinner tonight, because my mom is working this evening and neither of us wanted to cook. (It's hard for me to believe that just a year ago when I didn't live with my mom that I actually cooked for myself most ofthe time.) Anyway, we giggled like fools over 22 minutes quotes all evening because there was a waitress who looked EXACTLY like Mary Walsh's 22 minutes character Marg Delahunty. It was uncanny. Good god, is this my most boring diary entry ever? It just might be.
