2005-04-14 - 9:06 p.m.� I'm in a weird mood today. I had a headache earlier. It's gone now, but I still feel odd, like I'm mildly hangover, or burnt, or something. Still, I'm in a decent mood. Why? 1) Tomorrow is Friday. And it's out annual volunteer awards luncheon. It's always a lot of work to put on, and I will be massively relieved when it's over. Plus, it is actually nice while it's happening. It's kind of a stressful couple of hours, hoping everything goes smoothly, but I do like to have a chance to see all the volunteers, and thank them for doing what they do. 2) I just tried on the outfit that I'm planning to wear tomorrow, and was thrilled to see that my ass has not got any wider since I last wore the pants last spring. In fact, I think the pants may even fit a little better than I remember. So yay to that! 3) On Saturday I'm going to see Sarah Slean with Sarah and Julie! I'm really looking forward to it. When Julie and I saw her in Hamilton in February, she was amazing. She's always amazing, but I think she may have been extra amazing that night. So really, really, excited about seeing her again. And excited about seeing my friend Sarah, and going to eat in yummy restaurants, and eat special jello. 4)My mp3 is on random and it keeps going back to the clip of "Freelove Freeway" from The Office (the good Office, not the NBC one). It's hard to be cranky when you're on the Freelove Freeway. *** I'm wearing my pretty sandals so that I can get my feet used to them and hopefully not end up all blistered and sore. I'm also wearing my pjs. It's an interesting look. In other random news, my cat Simon has static cling. He keeps coming over to be pet, and after a few strokes his fur gives off a little shock. And every time it happens he makes a surprised little "murr" noise. Very amusing.
