2000-07-12 - 01:50:43� Today I wanted to do some writing. I have a short story all plotted out in my head, and I know that I'll have a much better chance of finishing it if I just sit down and spew out as much of it as I can, as soon as I can. But what did I spend my evening doing instead? Reading fanfic and searching on Napster. And for what? I didn't find one fic that really caught my interest, and out of the 4 songs I downloaded from Napster, only one was complete. I started to write a bit a little while ago, but the moment seems to have passed. I'm starting to doubt myself that this story is worth writing now at all. The plot and the point that I had all worked out now seems sort of stupid. I don't know why I always seem to do this to myself. I like writing, I am miserable when I have writer's block. But then when I do get an idea I procrastinate until the idea is gone, or I just doesn't feel workable to me anymore. How screwed up is that?
