2003-07-15 - 10:34 p.m.� I was feeling strangely motivated to get some stuff done around the house this evening. I put up a shelf, I hooked up my semi-new vcr (I got it for my birthday back in June, but it's been sitting in the living room hooked up to my main vcr since then), I picked up and put away all the big things on my floor, and I cleaned off my desk. I don't feel particularly accomplished now. Just kind of tired and sweaty and gross. Moral of the story? I should learn to ignore all housecleaning impulses at all cost. I think I need to go out and do something tomorrow. Possibly I should go shopping. I've been having an ice cream cone urge lately, but I have neither ice cream nor cones. I should pick some up-- that would be way more constructive than cleaning.
