2001-01-01 - 9:41pm� Today has just completely gotten away from me. It's now going on 10:00 and I can barely think of what I've done to fill the 12 hours or so since I got up this morning. I watched one of my new dvds today-- High Fidelity. I enjoyed it. It wasn't a perfect movie, but it was entertaining, and that's the most important thing. And the dvd had a lot of extra scenes on it. That's what I love about dvds, all the little extras. I mean, the improvement in picture quality is nice and all, but the reason I really love dvds is the bonus material. Right. So I watched High Fidelity... what else did I do? I played video games with my brother. He got this racing game that has Looney Tunes characters in it. It's basically "Super Mario Kart" with Looney Tunes! So, of course, I find it completely addictive. Yep, I watched a movie, I played video games... I went to the variety store and bought some chips and pop. Oh! I won $10.00 with my Lotto 649 ticket! Yay for me. It would have been nice if it had been you know, like $10 million, but I'm certainly not going to poo poo the $10.00 windfall. So where are we now? I watched a movie, played video games, went to the plaza, won $10.00... I answered some email. I wrote a little. I read some diaries... and that is seriously all I can remember doing today. How very sad. Maybe tomorrow will be a little more exciting. I get to call my temp agency, I get to go to Walmart (be still my heart!), and I get to go up to the evil Future Shop store and return the defective dvd that they sold me. I am really not looking forward with that last thing. I hate Future Shop. I hate shopping there, but damn it all, sometimes their prices are just too low to resist. Most of all though, I really hate returning things to Future Shop. Ugh. Maybe if I still have nothing to write about tomorrow I'll write about the hellish experience I had with the Future Shop Customer Service department last year. Oh, before I just have to say that I love all the people who have signed my guestbook and/or analyzer pages recently!
