2005-08-18 - 11:20 p.m. Hello again (Pokes head out tentatively) I've been meaning to post about my fabulous weekend, but when push comes to shove, it seems like a lot of work. Maybe tomorrow! It won't be old news as long as I get it posted before another weekend comes along, right? I have a delightful mid-August cold that has been hanging on since Sunday. Have you ever tried to by cold medicine in the middle of August? Pretty slim pickin' at the old drug store. The pharmacist kept trying to convince me that I probably wanted allergy medicine, because who gets a cold this time of year? And am I very sure that I don't have allergies? Yes, dammit! Now point me in the direction of the Extra Strength Halls and the Tylenol Cold. Between the cold and the fact that I am on vacation next week, work has been utterly painful. Looking at it objectively, it hasn't been bad... nothing bad has happened at all, really. It's just that I don't want to be there. But only one more day to go! And then I get 10 blissful, work free days! Hurrah!
