2005-04-27 - 9:49 p.m.� So, nerd that I am, I have to weigh in on the Serenity trailer. I found it a bit... underwhelming. It's okay though. I'm not all that worried. They were emphasizing the action-y stuff, and I imagine that the ad wizards probably figured that was the best way to market it. As a big action movie. But it's still a Joss script, so I am confident that there will be more substance, character depth, and clever humor than the average big action-y sci-fi movie. Sarah, I'm still cautionly optimistic about the sound in space thing. It was just a trailer, and trailers have sounds, music, etc that are not in the final cut of the movie. I know it may look bad now, but it still could turn out okay. Hong, you should totally come! We're making an event of it. A big, obsessive, geek-out event. It'll be good times, I promise.
