2003-09-29 - 8:31 a.m.� Been meaning to update... laziness has sort of held me back though. I am finally over the cold that would not end. That was a really awful cold. I looked like hell, and felt even worse. The big boss man even told me one day that I looked, and I quote, "gross." I told him that I felt like crap, and he commented that he'd never heard me use that word before. I told him that clearly the cold was taking its toll on my vocabulary too. Work still sucks. Thankfully there are only four more days of this do two jobs nonsense. I am never, ever agreeing to anything like that again without a massive amount of bitching, and possibly flat out refusal. I've got the day off today. Mom's having her second (and final) eye surgery, and I am the designated "responsible adult" who will be escorting home and to her post-op eye appointment. I had to get up an hour earlier today than I would have if I was actually going to work, but somehow it didn't seem quite as painful as getting up to go to work usually does. This weekend I'm going to Niagara Falls with three of my friends. I'm getting pretty excited about that. It's been a good long while since I've been on a vacation-y type thing. Perhaps I will post another vacation photo extravaganza afterwards. Well, I think my bed is beckoning to me again. I've still got another hour and a half until I have to pick mom up. I think that time would really be best spent sleeping.
