2001-11-07 - 10:12 p.m.� This evening I started working on a new layout for my diary. I really like the trend towards sparser, low on the images, layouts that seem to be populating diaryland these days. In case you were wondering, I am going to be jumping on the bandwagon with that. I've got the design stuff (such as it was) all done tonight, and now I just have to put in all the hyperlinks, upload my background image, and I'm all set. I should have it up for the weekend. Hopefully it will work in everyone's browser. I still don't understand why my diary suddenly-- and, as far as I can tell, spontaeneously-- decided not to show up in Netscape. In other re-decorating type news, I bought paint today. I got a nice light yellow. At least, that's the hope-- I've heard a whole lot of horror stories about nice light yellows not being nearly as light as anticipated once it's up on the walls. I don't think I'll mind too much if it's brighter than anticipated though. It will still be a welcome change from the dingy off-white walls I've been staring at for 2 years now. In other news... um... hmm. I don't really have any other news today. I loved last night's musical Buffy ep. That was sort of news to me. I'm not normally a fan of musicals, or very special sweeps month event type episodes of my favorite shows, but last night's show was really excellent. Joss Whedon is da man. I believe that whole-heartedly. He can write as many musical episodes as he wants, as far as I'm concerned. Especially if they end with Buffy and Spike kissing. Okay, I think I've exposed enough of my nerdish leanings for one night.
