2003-07-26 - 12:48 p.m.� My mother and stood outside the ticketmaster outlet at the mall for over an hour this morning like a couple of idiots. I had to get up early on a Saturday morning, and forgo coffee but it was worth it. My mom and I were first in line, and got 3 of only 1000 tickets at the earlybird price (a significant savings of $15.00 per ticket!) to see The Tragically Hip (and a bunch of other bands too, whatever, who cares) right here in my crappy city on September 6th! Woo Hoo! I so couldn't afford to buy that ticket right now, but getting it for $36.00 makes it a little more affordable. It looks like now I will be able to buy some food for my lunches this week after all! (The first person to tell me I need to get my priorities straight gets a kick in the crotch. I likes my priorities fine the way they are, thank you very much!)
