2005-02-07 - 10:05 p.m.� For the past 4 days it has been warm enough for me to wear my spring jacket. I know it won't last. I'm sure I'll be lucky to get through until the end of the week without having to drag my bulky, ugly winter coat out of the closet again. I'm trying to enjoy the warmer weather while I can. I feel better when I can go outside without spending 10 minutes finding my mittens and hat and scarf, and the aforementioned big ugly coat. I feel lighter, happier. I miss wearing shoes. Not boots, but shoes. I miss sandals. I miss having a reason to paint my toenails. I miss sunlight after 6:00. I miss having a tan. Winter always gets me down. It's like I lose a part of myself under all the snow and ice. I think it's made me forget how to write in this little white box. That's my excuse, anyway.
