2004-09-20 - 8:08 p.m.� By this time on Friday I'll be getting ready to board my plane for Florida. Yep, my vacation in the hurricane state is drawing ever closer. I just finished packing my suitcase. Mind you, it's not all packed. I still need to throw in my toiletries and underwear. But otherwise? Totally packed. And with about half the suitcase to spare for all the shopping that I will inevitably do. There isn't much I have left to do before I go. I have to pack my carry-on, I have to get some money changed, and I want to make a couple mp3 cds. But other than that, I'm ready to go. I'm getting pretty excited about it. It's been ages since I've been on a long vacation. Not that I haven't enjoyed my weekend excursions-- it's just that I am really looking forward to getting away from it all. The whole concept of leaving my life behind for a week is extremely appealing right now. I say that like my life has been really shitty lately. While that isn't the case, I have been really stressed about a lot of things. I think my neck pain lasted as long as it did because of stress. Hell, stress may have caused it, for all I know. So, in conclusion, vacation good, stress bad.
