2005-01-04 - 6:47 p.m.� Work was beyond busy today. Fuck-- how many of my entries start like that? I'm such a broken record. Anyway, it really was bad today. I got double my normal number of daily phone calls. Most of that was accumulated before I went for lunch. I blame the chaos for lowering my resistance and ability to talk my way out of things I don't want to do. Case in point: I agreed to volunteer to take part in a telethon after work tomorrow. I have to appear live, on-screen answering phone calls during a local news broadcast. What the fuck? I can't stand the idea of appearing on camera. I know I don't have to say anything, and I'll just be in the background, but still, tv cameras? And I'm all stressy from the amount of work I'm already doing, but now I'm putting in another 2 hours of work? And on a volunteer basis? What? Why? Stupid, stupid Heather.
