Monday morning haiku trilogy

This morning I expressed my feelings about work in a trio of haiku:

Mondays: always bad.
But much worse when it's snowing!
Want coffee and sleep.

My stomach is sore.
Why did I get out of bed?
My kingdom for Tums.

Work is too busy.
Is it time to go home yet?
Phone, please stop ringing.

And then I wrote a follow-up after lunch:

I got back from lunch,
Looked at phone, wanted to cry:
Oh crap, twelve voicemails!
