2004-03-23 - 8:28 p.m.� Work was poopy today but I don't feel like talking about it. Instead I'll talk about the fact that I love having Marla in town. We had lattes after I finished work today. And yesterday, because I had the day off, we went out for lunch and shopped at used book stores and Dollarama. It was fun. I got $14.00 in cash and trade for some of my books. I love used book stores. And the ones downtown are quirky and are populated by quiet, weird booksellers. We got to witness the squirreliest of all the squirrly bookstore guys have a little social breakdown. It was a little frightening, but really, the fact that the guy is such a social misfit really does add to the charm of the place. I was just invited to go to a 9:30 movie tonight with some friends but I declined on the basis that I would not be home before my bedtime. Honestly, as much as I would enjoy going out with my friends, and as much as I would like to see Dawn of the Dead, I would more enjoy getting to sleep tonight at a reasonable hour. I guess that's just even more proof that I getting old.
